Saw the Google Street View Subaru Impreza in my town this evening. It seemed Mr. Google Street View Man was out stretching or something. Wish I was able to stop and chat but I didn’t have time. Wonder how many miles are on those Subaru's.

Drove by me the other day. It was like witnessing a rare and beautiful Japanese spacecraft gathering data to transport to Google Prime.

Hella miles... (SF slang usage: Allowed) I saw them a number of times in the SD area and I’ve seen a couple up here. Even with a huge fleet, these cars must get many tens of thousands, perhaps a hundred thousand or more miles a year.
I wonder how often they have to go in for repair. They are also oddly-stripped looking cars.

I’m guessing they just buy the cheapest awd cars and put the cameras on it.
